Another one!?!?!

"Hey Mom, remember J my best friend in 4th grade".  No, not really.  I thought you hung out with A that year.  "No I didn't meet A until 5th grade".  So why do I need to remember J?  "Here's a pic of her and her baby on FB."

Another one!?!??!  This will be the 4th? 5th? 4th?  girl that DD used to hang out with that has had a baby.  What the heck!!?!?!?


Why?  I'm not sure in the last case, but in the others it was a cycle that wasn't broken.  They were all daughters of teen Moms.  !?!?!?!  You would think their Mom's would want to break the cycle.  It breaks my heart to see these children having children.

How old? My friend's granddaughter had her first at 19, broke up with the boyfriend, is now back with the boyfriend and pregnant again at age 22.

Her first friend to get pregnant did so at 14. The latest is 17.
