So not ready!!!

OK, emotionally I am. I'm ready to get on the plane and get away from here. But materially, physically and stuff? Not even close. *sigh* Do you think the bosses would mind if I had my assistant run errands for my vacation for me all tomorrow morning instead of doing work?

Help me!!!!! Apparently I'm a freak cause I don't do lists. *grins at Boo* (OMH the real freak is Bravie, her list making for vacations is mind boggling.) So anyway... where was I? SEE! That's my problem!! I keep getting side tracked and I forget things. *sigh* Like tonight for example... I was looking at wall chargers for DD's iPod and had one in my cart... set it back to go look at other ones and got distracted by the disaposable cameras... then I saw the candy aisle... need snacks for the plane.... oooohhhh travel lotion... I need that.... where's the baked cheetos in this place. *sigh* I get home. No iPod charger. *sigh*

OK. I went to the Cabi party last night. It was actually alot of fun. She had the whole spring collection with her and we got to try on the clothes. When we first walked in she gave us each an outfit to put on to model and then the fashion show began! *giggle* She gave me this tank top and red kimo shirt to put on and then long white shorts. I told her I was to short to wear long shorts. Oh well.

I don't know if you found someone yet to help with your fashion show, but I would think that a Cabi rep would help if you can find one in your area.

Finally Movies!!!

*giggle* I've missed watching movies. X never could sit still to watch a movie, we never went to movies.

New guy likes movies. Tuesday's have become our movie night. He normally brings over a couple and we watch atleast one. Last night we watched The Departed. OMH! I guess it's nominated for a bunch of awards. It should win. What a great movie. Loved it. One question though, for those have seen it. What happened to the envelope that Billy gave the chickipoo? Did she open it? Did it have instructions to call Walburg's character? *hops around* I need closure on this item!!!

If you haven't seen it, rent it. Nicholson is one crazy dude.

How ironic is this?

In last night's local paper the front page story was about a local car wash being charged with littering because of all the people that dump their garbage there, because they don't want to pay for their own garbage service. The owner is working the police going thru the bags of garbage to find the names of the individuals that are dumping there, so they can be ticketing for littering.

This morning? As I was driving back to the house after dropping DD off at the busstop? What do I see? Foot tracks in the snow from my neighbor's house out to my garabage can that was at the side of the road for pick up this morning.

I laughed it off, but then someone said those two evil words to me and now I'm a little nervous. Identy theft. *shiver*

I need a fireman hat

I've put out more fires this morning then I have buckets of water. *sigh*

I'm just here real quick to say that it's that time of year again. You may see flashes of me *flash* but that is all. Work is insane for me in January, then we get into the business tax portion of tax season and then the personal.... and well you get the picture. busy busy busy

So if I miss something, let me know! I hate missing all the fun stuff.

I made DD watch Grease the other night and now she's hooked. She watched Grease and Grease 2 over and over and over again all weekend. LOL She can now break into song or character almost as well as I (or her Aunt) can. *grin*

We're looking forward to the new reality show where they're auditioning for a Sandy and Danny for the broadway production of Grease.

Ford will be lying in state (I think that's what it's called) close to me next week. Do ya'll think I should take time off work to bring Ayla there to experience it?

Wooohoooo I'm sending out the last of my packages today. :) That makes me very happy.

Downbeat

For the most part, I hope to keep this place upbeat. But? I have a downbeat thing to post today.

I haven't talked much about my divorce, some of you probably didn't even know that DH and I were having trouble. But anyway.... it was final Friday. I drank way tooooo much Friday and am still feeling it today. Not good. I just wanted everyone in blogland to know that I am a single Mom again.

mmmmmm from both of my peeps!

I received some wonderful lemon bars and sugar cookie bars (I think, they're yummy whatever they are) from Nutzy!!! They came in some very pretty tins. (I feel bad for sending mine in boring packages now.) DD has claimed the sugar bars for herself... I think it's the purple sugar sprinkle on top. *giggle*

Carey sent me some of my favorite almond candycane cookies. mmmmmm so good.
